Full Website Package (copy/content + URL + basic site build)
Do you need more customers?
One of the biggest problems facing most small to medium businesses is obscurity.
You provide a valuable product or service, but too few people know about it.
Marketing your business online is one of the most effective ways to reach a targeted audience, tell them about your offering, show them how it will benefit them, and do more business.
A well-structured, content-rich website is the heart of your online/content marketing strategy.

This package is ideal for you if…
- You own or manage an established small to medium-sized business and want to establish and use a strategic online presence to create more exposure and help grow your business.
- You own or manage, or are in the process of setting up, a well-funded start-up and plan to use the business’s online presence as an exposure tool and growth driver from the beginning, or early in the business life cycle.
- You are passionate about your business and want to see it grow
- You are prepared to invest in your business
- You take a long-term view and realise that building credibility and presence online takes time and sustained effort
This package is NOT ideal for you if…
- You need content written and a website thrown together by Friday afternoon – and it’s Tuesday night. I don’t do rush jobs - they create stress for everyone involved and generally result in sub-standard work and poor results. Good work takes time.
- You believe that you can go live with your company website at the close of business today, and have a long list of eager leads, prospects, and customers by lunchtime tomorrow. You may see some early interest, and, capitalise on it if you do but remember that online and content marketing is a marathon, not a sprint. It takes time for a new website to build presence and authority and it usually takes at least 3-6 months to start seeing significant benefits, depending on how competitive the industry/niche is and other factors.
- You regard a company website as a “silver bullet” that will magically fix an ailing business. If a lack of exposure is one of the challenges the business faces, then a good content-rich website can help over time – but no amount of marketing, online or offline, will work long-term if the business model is unsound or the product/service does not solve a problem, add value or both, there is no real demand for it, or it is not up to the standard expected by customers. My advice - fix those problems first, then build a website.
How it Works (Process)
I find that almost every project has at least a couple of unique requirements/attributes, but my basic process is:
1. Initial enquiry from a potential client
2. Assess whether client requirement meets the scope of the package, based on conversation, initial source material, company documents, etc. (if not, offer a customised quote)
3. Prepare formal quote and deposit invoice (50%) and send to client
4. Once the deposit is received, add to the workflow
5. Register URL (in consultation with the client) and park
6. Receive source material, images, artwork, etc. from the client and do light online research if required
7. Develop site strategy, prepare a content plan, and submit to the client
8. Perform keyword research and online competitor analysis and submit to the client
9. Discuss content plan, target keyword list (identified during keyword research and competitor analysis), and overall strategy - get buy-in and approval
10. Write the first draft of the content and send to the client for feedback
11. While waiting for feedback, set up hosting account, create basic site structure, select 3-5 appropriate designs/templates, and send to the client for feedback/selection
12. Once the client has given feedback on the copy, perform any necessary revisions and resubmit
13. Obtain final content approval and preferred design from the client
14. Add content, images, and artwork to the site pages and send a link to the client for viewing
15. Adjust and customise as necessary in consultation with the client
16. Link URL to the site and publish it (go live
17. Finalise the site and get sign off
18. Send the final invoice to the client (due within 7 days of presentation)

Lead time on most projects is usually 3-4 weeks, depending on my workload at the time, the complexity of the project, how long I wait for business details, source material, and feedback, and other factors. Once a project is confirmed (i.e. deposit paid) I will work with you to set deadlines that are realistic and acceptable to both of us.
