Words that Help Build Businesses

Your Website Has One Job: Helping Your Business Grow

It should be your hardest-working employee, constantly explaining what you do, answering questions, building trust, and encouraging visitors to become customers, not sitting quietly in the corner contributing very little to the business.

(The same applies to your blog, newsletter, email campaigns, social media, and every other digital touchpoint your customers encounter.)

This is where I can help you.

I create website copy and content that's written in clear language for real people, strategically aligned with your business goals, and carefully designed to support your broader marketing strategy.

A Copywriter, But Not Just a Copywriter

Great copy doesn't happen in isolation.

It comes from understanding businesses, customers, industries, and how people make decisions

That starts with asking the right questions.

Before becoming a professional copywriter and content writer, I spent more than twenty years working in business, mostly in customer service and operational management roles at global technology companies (Sony, Samsung, and LG)

That experience taught me how businesses operate, how products are marketed, and how customers think and buy.

Since 2010, I've combined that commercial experience with professional copywriting and content writing to help businesses communicate with greater clarity and confidence.

I sit at the intersection of business strategy and persuasive writing to help build businesses, one word at a time.

Things I Can Help You With

Your Website:
  • Website Copy
  • Website Content
  • Landing Pages
  • Website Copy Decks
  • Content Refreshes

Content Marketing:
  • Blog Posts
  • Articles
  • Email Marketing
  • Social Media

Sales & Marketing Materials:
  • Company Profiles
  • Brochures
  • Flyers
  • Promos
  • Case Studies
  • White Papers

...and many other things. If it involves words, there’s a good chance I can help you with it.

Why Work With Me?

Business-First Thinking. I don’t just write. I take the time to do research and understand your business, your customers, and your goals. This, combined with my business understanding and experience, means I weave strategy into every sentence.

Clear Communication. Conversational writing that makes complex ideas easier to understand, with no unnecessary jargon, buzzwords, and technical terminology, which can cause customers to hit the back button before they have fully understood the value you offer.

Unique Perspective. Because I have and continue to work with clients from different industries and countries, I have a broad view of business in general. Every client, industry, and project adds another layer to the experience I bring to the next one.

SEO Without Sacrificing Readability. Optimising your content for search engines remains important. Despite periodic claims that SEO is "dead", search remains one of the primary ways customers discover businesses online. However, that is never an excuse for keyword-stuffed, clunky copy that sounds like a robot wrote it. I always write for humans first, then naturally optimise for search engines after (including LLMs, which are increasingly acting like search engines).

I work primarily with small and medium-sized businesses, helping them communicate their value through better websites and content.

Whether you're launching a new business, refreshing an established website, or expanding your content marketing, I can help.

Let’s Talk

Better words don't just fill pages. They build trust, answer questions, strengthen your brand, improve search visibility, generate enquiries, and turn visitors into customers.

Hit me up if you’d like to discuss how the words on your website can be improved, or any other aspect of your content marketing.
